Topic 6 DQ 2
Diabetes is undoubtedly a health pandemic, as millions of people die from diabetes each year. However, type 2 diabetes can be managed with lifestyle changes such as a better diet and more exercise. Hemoglobin AC1 levels help identify diabetics. This study aims to test whether lowering AC1 levels in adults through lifestyle changes helps control diabetes in these individuals. The action plan to lower the AIC level of the selected population is to carry out a comprehensive nursing visit. In the meantime, the nurse advises the patient on proper dietary planning, the need for medication compliance, the Point of Care AC1 test, retinal screening, and checks to inform home information. Protocol and medication and dietary adjustments as needed. The first approach was not very practical.
This study only educates people about the importance of a healthier lifestyle through exercise and better nutrition, and only reassesses at the end of the 12 weeks whether lifestyle changes affected AC1 levels. Was aimed at. However, after thinking about it, I realized that it was essential to ensure that the study subjects remained loyal to the program in order to ensure consistent results. It’s very easy to lie about what people eat and how much they exercise. However, regular health checks can be an incentive for residents to implement the program. The reason for this is change is primarily due to the age of the research population. They are all between the ages of 4060. It`s no secret that exercising and dieting is hard; it is especially harder for an older generation who may be too set in their ways of life and who can be easily demotivated since its harder for them to lose weight. These individuals, therefore, require more supervision in order to keep them motivated. It is important to constantly remind them of the benefits of a healthier lifestyle as well the risk they face by continuing the same old habits. With more visits, it is possible to connect with these individuals and support their attempts to achieve their goals (Ngandu et al., 2015). By maintaining the motivation of these individuals, you can avoid terminating the program prematurely or feeling the need to lie about your lifestyle. Ultimately, the results will be more reliable.
Now that you have completed a series of assignments that have led you into the active project planning and development stage for your project, briefly describe your proposed solution to address the problem, issue, suggestion, initiative, or educational need and how it has changed since you first envisioned it. What led to your current perspective and direction?
